Mammut Laminate – Kronotex.
Mammut laminate is a premium long plank laminate. The product is made by Kronotex from Germany who are a leading European Manufactuer.
Mammut laminate comes in two formats 10mm and 12mm. Both thicknesses offer a wide selection of colours so you wont be disappointed. The 10mm comes in wider plank format of 244mm but the 12mm comes in a 188mm width.
The main advantage of Mammut laminate is that it comes in long plank format but this is only part of its story as the textures and colours make it one of the nest ranges on the market. These long planks offer you the chance to enhance the look of your house as they add class to the finish.
Installation.
Mammut laminate flooring is mostly installed as a floating floor where it is fitted over an underlay. This underlay removes the friction between the base floor and the laminate.
The floor can be installed over underfloor heating but if installing over underfloor heating please ensure to use the correct underlay. Kronotex flooring provide guidelines for underfloor heating.
The most important things to get right when installing are. Is the building and floor dried out fully. Is the base floor level. Make sure you leave the correct expansion around the perimeter and at doorways. Please read the instructions fully before starting your installation.
