OUR STORY

Welcome to

Whiteriver Group

The Wogan’s Family business started in Dunleer in 1935 and is now in its 3rd Generation. During this time the family remained active part of business in the Dunleer area. The Wogan family have been active in retailing of groceries and hardware products, farming, agri merchanting, agri wholesaling and more recently the distribution of timber related products.

Whiteriver Group is an Irish business that first started distributing flooring in 1997 and have since grown to become market leaders in laminate flooring, engineered flooring and composite decking/cladding in Ireland. The name of the company was inspired by the White River which runs through Dunleer, Co. Louth.

Whiteriver Group is more than a distributor — we are a team built on family values, knowledge, and a passion for design. From our headquarters in Dunleer to our Seadec division in Ferbane, we’ve built a network that delivers premium flooring, decking, and door solutions across Ireland and beyond.

In 2024, our journey entered a new chapter with the acquisition of Floorstock in the UK, enabling us to bring our service, quality, and innovation to a wider audience. Our focus remains simple: provide products that inspire, perform, and last, supported by the reliability and personal care our customers have trusted for over 25 years.

In today’s fast moving environment consumer’s tastes and trends are constantly changing and here at Whiteriver we endeavour to keep our ranges in tune with demand. We are also fully committed to following all Government and EU policy on the handling and sourcing of timber products.

In Europe through the EU timber regulations we have very strong legislation that puts in place detailed check lists and audits that ensure all timber products supplied come from sustainable sources. Our product ranges are primarily based on wood species that have proven sustainable reserves which ensures you can have peace of mind when selecting one of our products.
